Hi friends,
Happy Easter! I am in Red Deer visiting family, but programmed this to send ahead of time! See how committed I am?! 😃
I am still fighting sickness but I think I am finally maybe getting better?! I really need to get back on my feet soon as I have so much to do. I’ve been making a lot of progress on YYC Venues (even if it doesn’t look like it lol). But I’ve lined up 3-4 venues I’ll be adding next. Can’t wait!
This week I might go to the Calgary Expo, (we’ll see how healthy I am by then). I also want to go to the grand opening of the Fancy Induced Burger as they’re giving away a free car and I’ve badly needed a new car for the last 2 years as I watch my fall apart on me. 😭
We’ll see how it goes. Lots to do anyway! I noticed a lot of concerts on this week - so maybe jump on that if that’s your thing. 🎵

💃 JESSE COOK: If you want a different style of music on Tuesday, Jesse Cook is at the Jubilee apparently it’s “Flamenco with everything from Classical and Jazz to Zydeco, Blues and Brazilian samba”

🌮 FEAST ON FOURTH: This food festival is a new favourite for Calgarians! See the 4th Street BIA website for a list of all the $10 foods. On from April 23-27
🎸 STEEL PANTHER & BUCKCHERRY: See both at Grey Eagle this Wednesday as part of the Northern Exposure Tour

🦸 CALGARY EXPO: Starts Thursday and goes until Sunday!
🙊 FUCKUP NIGHTS YYC: I am shocked there are still tickets left for this. This event has never not sold out. This is a cool event where cheeky and funny stories of failure in business are shared. It’s a presentation and then networking event. I’ve been 3 times and always found it valuable.
Friday
🎤 BUSH GREATEST HITS TOUR: Add some music to your Friday night with this concert at The Grey Eagle event centre.
🍷 GUESS THE EXPENSIVE WINE: I bet you can’t do it. Have a fun night out at Willow Park Wines with a mystery wine tasting.
🚀 STAR WARS THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK IN CONCERT: On at the Jubilee both Fri & Sat

So I actually cut 1,300 subscribers from this mailing list this week. Anyone who hadn’t opened 1 of the last 8 emails I sent to them I deleted. If you are reading this you are safe!! haha, but just letting you know that because I pay on a per subscriber basis I need to clean my list once in a while to keep costs low. All you have to do is keep opening emails to stay on the list! (well at least open 1 every 2 months, so I know you’re alive 😅).
