What a busy week amiright?! So much going on and more coming in hot!

Last week I went to the new Splitsville in Creekside and it was awesome. A big place and because it’s brand new it’s super clean. The arcade doesn't even have any grimey fingerprints on it. Also, super cool, you don’t need bowling shoes to bowl there, you can just wear your own. FREE! They have a few other locations if you want to visit, oh, but I also have a code for Creekside specifically, I’ll add it to my discount list below.

  • 🏠 BIRDHOUSE MAKING: This crafty Monday at Cold Garden is for the birds! Well it’s making bird houses… you get it. Ticket includes a craft kit and a drink.

  • 🐑 SPRING BABIES FESTIVAL: It must be spring because Butterfield acres is having a festival dedicated to all the new baby animals at their farm. CUTE!

Sunday

  • 🛍️ GLUTEN-FREE EXPO: For all my gluten free friends there’s a whole expo on Sunday at the BMO Centre. This is for both shoppers and for retailers.

  • 🎷 CALGARY JAZZ ORCHESTRA: Celebrating Chet Baker and Suite Jubilation. Show is on at the Bella Concert Hall.

  • ✂️ BARBER EXPO 2025: This is random but apparently Canada’s largest barber expo is happening this Sunday at the Big 4 Building. So send your barber a text and tell them this is the place to “sharpen” their skills!

I recently signed up for JotForm! I was using google forms for Mac & Cheese Fest, and OMG this is so much better. If you just need simple survey software you can get by with google forms, but if you want more capabilities JotForm is truly a million times better. (I need it for what I’m doing with YYC Venues.)
