MONDAY

• 🍫 YYC HOT CHOCOLATE FEST: On for the whole month of February, you can try hot chocolates from participating restaurants throughout the city. The list of hot chocolates is now up, and it’s massive, I think I heard there’s about 180 of them?!!

• 🖌️PRE-VALENTINE’S PAINT NIGHT: Border Crossing Pub is holding a Valentine’s themed paint night. Adults only ($42)

TUESDAY

• ☃️ CHINOOK BLAST: This winter festival encompasses a variety of events and goes until Feb 16.

WEDNESDAY

• 🌔 VINTAGE NIGHT MARKET: As part of their new all February long festival “East End Cold Spell” there’ll be a night market at The Confluence. Don’t worry, it’s not outside, it’s in a big tent! (Free entry!)

THURSDAY

• 🕺 BLOCK HEATER MUSIC FESTIVAL: Kicks off Thursday and goes until Saturday night. I’ll be there Saturday! Can’t wait! ($53-$136)

FRIDAY

• 🎼 HANSEL & GRETEL OPERA: See the final show of Calgary Opera’s Hansel & Gretel. ($15-$150)

• 🔪MURDER AT THE PARK: Solve a murder and enjoy a nice dinner at this fun event at Heritage Park. They’ve got multiple dates available, Friday or Saturday this weekend and more dates spread into March. ($120)

SATURDAY

• 🧧 LUNAR NEW YEAR: Join in the Lunar New Year celebration at District Beltline. It’s free!

• 💗 CLAY & ROSE: A fun galentine’s event at Canopy Studios. During this 3 hour workshop you’ll get hands on clay experience and create playful pieces. ($89)

SUNDAY

• 🏈 SUPERBOWL SUNDAY: Watch the Seahawks vs the Patriots at your local sports bar.

• 🐶 PUPPY YOGA: Try puppy yoga at Rebarkable Retreat ($41)

• Lunch on 27 at The Dorian Hotel is offering a new $29 elevated express lunch deal. Choose between 4 starters and 4 mains and get house-made cookies to go.

• Burger it Forward is an initiative started by Canada Beef where participating restaurants over the month of February give back to the food bank every time someone orders a burger.

• Southcentre Mall has a fun Valentine’s pop-up installation on now until Feb 14. It’s colorful and cute and provides the perfect photo op’s! Free! Donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters encouraged.

• TOPS Pizza South is always doing something new and they are leaning all the way into the Winter Olympics with a full themed menu in their “Maple Lounge” - including 3 kinds of poutine, a Montreal smoked meat sandwich, butter tarts, and even namaimo bars. Plus a drink line up with Moose Milk and Caesars.
