š®DID YOU HEAR? CALGARY NEWS & WHAT PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT

What the group chat is talking about this week. š¬
š° I randomly ended up at the Millarville Medieval Faire last Friday and it was a great time! I may have to visit another!
š First Street Market has a nice initiative this June where money is donated to Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids when you purchase select meals from their vendors.
š° If youāve got some extra money to blow, Iād recommend this insanely expensive dinner at Eight this Stampede. For one night only on July 4 you can try a rare Dalmore Whiskey and get some food too for $3,750 per person.
š„„ Ricardoās Hideaway announced that they are closing, which is wild to me. Iāve always felt this place was busy so not sure what happened. You still have all summer to do a final visit before they close at the end of summer. I know I will!
šGem Studio just opened in Chinook Mall. Itās the newest place for charms and permanent jewellery.

ā Accuracy: I do this newsletter alone and inevitably it will feature a typo or two (or I might have got my details mixed up, I am just a frequently hungover person after all). Furthermore, event details can change at the organizerās whim, please double check before you head out anywhere. That said, I think this is 99.9% accurate! I try my best!
š«„ Full Transparency: Sometimes I include events or businesses within this newsletter that have a sponsored connection to YYC Sociables (my local small business). Some links may be affiliate (very rarely, but sometimes) which means I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Or I may refer to a hosted media event or gifted food.
