Here’s the tea! I added this fun section so I can talk about things I think are interesting with you.

• Feels wild to me that Stampede announcements are coming out in January. But National Saloon announced that Down with Webster will be at their tent July 6^th.

• X92.9 and Grey Eagle are doing a weekend concert series March 28^th and 29^th. Headliners will include July Talk (29^th), Valley and JJ Wilde (28^th). Grab tix here.

• King Crabs are back at Rodney’s Oyster House! This is always super popular. These crabs are unreal.  They are pre-order only, so give Rodney’s a call to make your wish known!

• Keith Urban announced he’s coming to Calgary Saddledome in Sept. You can buy tix now.

• The Calgary Marathon is celebrating its anniversary (wahhhhhat? That’s crazy) It’s apparently the oldest marathon in Canada. Also didn’t know that. To celebrate they are moving to a 2 day event this year on May 24^th and 25^th.

In case you missed it, here’s a recap of fun things this week posted on Instagram.

• I did 3 sponsored posts this week. I don’t like to lump them together like that, I’d prefer if they were spread around my regular content, but sometimes I don’t have a say in the matter. Anyway, I think these are legitimately of interest!

• Horizons of Khufu is a virtual reality experience on now at Chinook Mall. It takes you back to ancient Egypt and you get to explore a pyramid. I thought it was great, and I have paid more for shorter/lesser VR experiences so in my opinion it is worth it.

•  The Motorcycle and PowerSports show is on Jan 31-Feb 2 and has something for everyone! It looks really cool. While I was filming for it, it made me legitimately excited for the show!

• And, not an ad, but in case you missed it, Cineplex is doing $5 movies and $5 popcorn on Tuesdays into Feb.

• And back to ads again, 😆 Shell Car Wash is a nifty place to wash your car on heritage drive.
