It’s a croissandwich!
Poesie Co. - Newly opened in Kensington, Poesie serves baked goods and drinks. I’m loving the look of their Croissandwich (pic above) which you can get either savoury or sweet! Also fascinating, they make Cake Frappes, which are some sort of drink with cake pieces in it. You can get chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. I’d try it!

Gyubee Japanese Grill coming soon to Calgary!
Gyubee - An all-you-can-eat Japanese BBQ restaurant will be opening on Macleod Trail (old Earl’s location I believe)
Uncommon Drip - Coffee and wood-fire baked sandwiches will be served at this new place set to open on Edmonton Trail. We shouldn’t have to wait long as their IG says “opening in September.”
Tony Roma’s - Gossip is Tony Roma’s is opening a location downtown (previous location of Mister M). I haven’t had Tony Roma’s in foooorrever. But I remember it being decently good.
Rosie’s Burger opening 2nd location
Rosie’s Burgers - When this chain opened last year just off of 17th ave people lost their minds. I tried it and found it to be extremely mid. But if you’re a fan, Rosie’s will be opening a 2nd Calgary location in Bridgeland. I do still need to stop in to try their famous banana pudding though…
Ruth’s Chris Steak House - According to this article by Livewire, the famous Ruth’s Chris location within the Calgary tower is moving out! 😱 They’ll be relocating to the Barron Building (and old building being converted to residential downtown)
Orijins - Latin America meets Japan in this unique fusion restaurant and cocktail bar opening on Macleod Trail. They don’t have any food pics up yet, but I’m curious to see what this involves. No opening date announced yet.
